What ...My heart is with you in your seasons, Katie. What you've described here sounds to me what I would call a fall season. The "amazingness" with God was spring and summer, but now the weather is cooler, and things are starting to die. It's okay to let things fall to the ground and just die. The dead things will decompose over the next two seasons, so that when you enter spring again, the ground is well fertilized for new growth. That was my experience, anyway. I do realize we're different, though. Every season has a purpose, and God wants to meet with us in unique ways in each. I pray you find him in <i>your</i> unique way this season.<br /><br />And by the way, it is VERY surreal for me that Christmas is in two weeks. I literally have not done one thing for Christmas yet. But I also feel totally fine about that. So we'll see what happens.
